With the Orchard service, it's possible to have your new Mac shipped to a home address, automatically enrolled with our management framework, your user account and University all licensed applications installed.
This enrollment method will only work if we have added your new Mac to your Device Enrollment Programme site instance. This can be confirmed by contacting your IT Support team. Please do not unbox or switch on your device until it is confirmed that it has been configured to do so.
If you are using a MacBook, you will get a prompt to start encryption, which you should start. Your recovery key will be stored with us automatically in the event that you forget the password to your encrypted MacBook.
