All software installed via the Orchard Software Centre is centrally managed. We take care of checking for updates, test them internally on a small amount of devices and notify you when it is time to install them using the built in update system. The Orchard Software Centre also allows you to remove applications in case you no longer require them and would like to recover some disk space.
