= Service Desk guide to the Orchard JSS (Jamf Software Server) =

The JSS is your very own reference point to help you reference any Mac that is enrolled in the Orchard estate. 

You can enter multiple search criteria to return information collected at the last device inventory.

== Logging on ==

To login Service Desk users can use their '''Connect''' account credentials to access the web console via the link below.

== Simple Computer searches using Search Inventory ==

When searching for a device, consider the searchable attributes below '' tip You can use asterix for searching both prior to the input or after or both, you can put in any part of the word and still get results ''

 *Computer Name
 *MAC Address
 *IP Address
 *Username
 *Full Name
 *Email Address



==== Input ====

 1. Ensure you have selected Computer icon (top left)
 2. Search Inventory is highlighted on the menu
 3. Enter full or partial text into the search bar and select Search

The Service Desk team have limited access to resources and should only need to use the Search Inventory for point of reference.
