Most people prefer to read their email with a program installed on their computer – a so called email client. You have a choice of several email clients with your Orchard Mac. Using a client to access Nexus does not exclude you from also accessing Nexus online using Outlook Web Access (OWA), for example when you want to check your email when you are away from your own computer.
You will get most functionality if you use Microsoft Outlook. Please note that the recommended version is Outlook 2011, as there is a known issue with meeting invitations in Nexus and Outlook 2016. Apple Mail, Calendar and Contacts will give you a similar level of functionality (integrated calendaring, task lists, etc.).
